I had my camera ready, waiting for the perfect moment before sunrise in the calm waters of La Paz, Mexico. This was no ordinary morning; it was a chance to witness a unique sea lion behavior that I had long dreamed of capturing.

As the adults encouraged the young sea lions into the water, these playful pups began their daily exercises. They learned new skills through play, diving and weaving in synchrony. Suddenly, I was surrounded by curious, energetic sea lions. They swam around me, inspecting my equipment with wide, inquisitive eyes.
